A mythical address
Symbol of the Parisian nights, the Lido finally closed its doors but it is reborn from its ashes this winter under the name of Lido 2 Paris. The concept of the cabaret with its restaurant and its revues animated by the famous Bluebell Girls has been abandoned and the light has been put on the idea of musical theater. To celebrate this new era, you can attend the original version of Cabaret, the famous musical. It is scheduled for about 60 performances from November 26 to February 3.
Cabaret, a great classic revisited
The American musical created in 1966 has not aged a bit. The Lido 2 Paris presents it this winter in its original English version. French surtitles are provided so as not to lose any of the story and dialogue. In 1930s Berlin, a singer and the master of ceremonies of a cabaret try to make the audience forget the rise of Nazism. For the Lido 2 Paris, the artistic director has called upon the famous Canadian director Robert Carsen who has already enchanted audiences at the Paris Opera and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. A guarantee of quality!
