Van Cleef at the Muséum National: mineralogy, gemology and the art of jewellery
The original approach of this extraordinary exhibition is to place precious stones in a global and multifaceted context, from their birth in the depths of the earth to their transformations under heat and pressure and their use as symbols of power, instruments of seduction and objects of scientific study. Creativity is honoured, both that of Nature and that of man, through the wonders of the jewellery fashioned by Van Cleef & Arpels.
