For three days, the Grand Palais embraces all things equestrian for one of the most important events on the international circuit, the Saut Hermès. The famous luxury leather goods brand brings all of its glamour and elegance to a contest that features some of the best riders and young riders in the world. A truly breath-taking show!
The Saut Hermès - impressive
Many riding fans will have reserved their tickets for the various 5-star events that punctuate the three days of the competition some time ago. However, it's also an impressive event for newcomers. The spectacle offered by the partnership of man and horse, the grace of their movements and the precision and mastery of each gesture creates a fascinating ballet, even for those who are new to the scene. Plus, special equestrian displays add an extra layer of magic to the event.
To attend
It's easy to get to the event if you're staying at the Chess Hotel. It will take you about fifteen minutes to walk to the Saut Hermès site or a little less if you opt for public transport. In addition, the route from the Chess Hotel to the Grand Palais takes you through some of the most iconic places in Paris including the Place de la Madeleine and the Place de la Concorde. You might even linger for a while in the Tuileries Gardens or Place Vendôme on the way back.
