Not long till Easter!

Although the end of March celebrates the arrival of spring, this year it is equally concerned with bells, bunnies and Easter eggs. Dark, milk or white chocolate, dressed with praline, ganache or marzipan, they whip our artisan chocolatiers into a flurry of creativity. For the occasion, the Chess Hotel Paris offers gourmets an invitation to discover the 2016 creations of three great chocolate artists, Patrick Roger, Pierre Hermé and Pierre Marcolini.
Pierre Hermé, a tradition revisited
As usual, the Pierre Hermé 2016 collection offers a delicious and elegant assortment. Delightful and sweet, a wonderful family of Easter bunnies is inspired by animal sculptor François Pompon while a sumptuous Easter egg defined by its slender curves is decorated with galettes in an assortment of flavours. Milk Chocolate lovers will enjoy an exclusive blend created by softening deep cocoa notes the fullness of milk. Meanwhile, dark chocolate fans can choose between the grand crus of the Caribbean, Brazil, Madagascar and Peru. And if the choice is too difficult, why not just try them all?
Chickens in Wonderland
Chez Patrick Roger, hens are the stars of Easter 2016. The chocolatier who is famed for his magnificent exhibition of Primates carved from single blocks of chocolate now brings us a joyous farmyard filled with highly stylised chickens. Milk chocolate or dark chocolate, these cheeky hens with their bright red feathers and yellow beaks almost seem to cackle and you can imagine them scampering to hide in the garden. It’s an Alice in Wonderland atmosphere for Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, and his fabulous characters come straight from the pages of the Lewis Carroll novel. They’re all gathered here waiting for the fun to begin - the Queen, the Fool, the Cheshire Cat with his irresistible smile, beautifully trimmed playing card eggs and, of course, Rabbit - late as ever.
A hotel for gourmands
You’ll also enjoy a delicious Tea Time during your stay at the Chess Hotel Paris. Each day from 15.00 to 18.00, 3 hours of fun just for you. Tuck into tea, fruits juices, sandwiches and cakes in the time honoured traditions of gourmets everywhere. At the Chess Hotel Paris, Easter lasts all year!
