Situated just a few minutes from the Chess Hotel, the Fête des Tuileries (Tuileries Festival) invites you to rediscover the charm of the funfairs of yesteryear. Amidst the superb surroundings of the Jardin des Tuileries public park, you’ll find traditional funfair joys such as dodgems, a merry-go-round with wooden horses, ice palace, ghost train, hall of mirrors and games of skill such as shooting galleries and hook-a-duck. While some funfairs, including the famous Foire du Trône, had to be cancelled, the Fête des Tuileries was able to continue. The Fête offers all the pleasures of the funfairs you remember from childhood, and on a similarly intimate scale. And, yes, there’s a magnificent Ferris wheel! When the fun gives you an appetite, you can also treat yourself to all the tastebud-tickling delights you’d expect, including candy floss, toffee apples, ice cream, crepes, doughnuts and more ...

Entrance to the Fête des Tuileries is free; you only have to pay for the attractions. Why not combine a visit with a trip to the Louvre or a shopping spree on the Champs-Élysées? The Fête is open every day from July 3rd to August 30th, from 11:00 to 23:45 and until 00:45 on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. It’s a glorious opportunity to ride the Ferris wheel and enjoy the illuminated panorama of Paris, a quite simply magical experience.
